Bhubaneswar: The new Chief Secretary of Odisha Manoj Ahuja and Additional Chief Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid a courtesy visit to the CM at the State Guest House on Monday.
According to sources, the Chief Minister discussed various administrative matters and upcoming projects aimed at furthering the development agenda of the state with Ahuja and Dhal.
It may be mentioned that Ahuja took charge as the new Chief Secretary of Odisha on Sunday. The 1990-batch IAS officer of Odisha cadre took charge from outgoing Chief Secretary Pradeep Jena, IAS officer (1989-batch) at Lok Seva Bhavan, Bhubaneswar.
Besides, Dhal, was appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister on Sunday. The 1993-batch Odisha cadre IAS officer served as Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of the State, during the 2024 General and State Assembly elections.
Before joining as the CEO of Odisha, Dhal served as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department and Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) in 2023.
