Cumulative Count Of COVID-19 Positive Cases In Odisha Stands At 20

Bhubaneswar: Though samples of 1395 persons have been tested so far, the cumulative count of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha stands at 20 with two recoveries, informed Odisha's Chief Spokesperson on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi.

Authorities have traced that 42 persons had came in contact with the 4th patient, 38 with the 5th patient while contact tracing of other patients is still on. Further, 91 persons have been kept in hospital isolation.

Meanwhile, the third patient is undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital, fifth patient at AIIMS and 16 others at the newly developed COVID facility at the Cuttack-based Ashwini Hospital.

As per the cumulative count of positive cases, 14 persons are from Bhubaneswar, three from Bhadrak and one each from Cuttack, Puri and Jajpur.

Giving global updates, Bagchi said that as many as 11,21,973 persons have been infected in 205 countries and two ships with 5,9403. In India, 2,902 persons have been infected with 68 dead.
