Bhubaneswar: The world-famous Bali Yatra of Cuttack will begin from November 15 this year. Cuttack District Collector Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde informed that the duration of this year Bali Yatra will be decided in the next state-level meeting.
The District Collector said the entire Bali Yatra will be integrated with a single window system for the smooth allocation of stalls to all the traders coming for mega commercial and cultural extravaganza.
More spaces will be demarcated and more emphasis will be placed on traffic management to alleviate parking problems.
A green corridor will be kept ready for ambulances and VIPs during the journey. In view of heavy crowds more toilets will be arranged, he said.
Today’s meeting focussed on expanding the culture of Cuttack beyond the country.
