Cuttack: With the festive season approaching, the Commissionerate of Police have mounted an extra vigil against illegal ‘Chanda’ collection.
DCP Pinak Mishra today said that strict action will be taken against anyone involved in any such activities.
The police have requested shopkeepers and owners of commercial establishments and general public to inform the police immediately if anyone harasses them in this connection.
Two helpline numbers with Whats App facility have been issued for the public to report such matters. The numbers are – 6370701550 ଓ 8763068464.
