**Cuttack:** Pranakrushna Muduli, the man who was stuck in a narrow pipeline of Tulsipur pipehouse here and brought out alive after a marathon rescue operation on May 17, reportedly died of ill health today.
It was on the morning of the fateful day, 45-year-old Muduli was cleaning the pipe at the pumping station when a fellow worker switched on the motor and let the gushing water through the pipe. The force of the water pushed Muduli almost 25 feet inside the 2.5 feet wide pipe.
Soon after rescue operations were carried out by a team of ODRAF and fire officials that lasted for seven hours until they were able to bring him out of the mess.
He had been rushed to SCB Medical College and Hospital along with some of the ODRAF and fire brigade personnel involved in the rescue operation inside the pipeline.
