Bhubaneswar: The majestic silver filigree work of Cuttack and famed terracotta tiles of Barapali have found place in the 'Google Arts & Culture' exhibit 'Crafted In India'. The exhibit showcases India’s rich artistic heritage before the world on virtual platform.
Cuttack is famous for its silver filigree work, locally known as Chandi Tarkashi. Chandi means 'silver' and tarkashi means 'wire work'.
Barapali village, in Bargarh district is known for its unique terracotta roof tiles, which are decorated with animal figures.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has informed this using micro blogging site twitter.
