Cuttack Woman Missing After Being Swept Away In Mahanadi River, Search Op On

Bhubaneswar:  A woman from Ratagada village Cuttack’s Banki area went missing after being swept away in Mahanadi River on Monday.

The missing woman has been identified as Pinki Swain, a local resident.

Upon being informed, the fire brigade team launched a search operation to trace her.

According to reports, Pinki was bathing in the Mahanadi after disposing of Khudurukuni waste when she slipped into the water due to carelessness.

Locals immediately informed the fire brigade, which rushed to the scene and began searching for her. Despite their efforts, no trace of the woman has been found yet.
