Cuttack: Dissemination of awareness messages on cyber safety kick-started in the State with the rolling out of Cyber Safety Raths in every district from today. The campaign started with the objective to make Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s message ‘Satarka Ruhantu, Surakhita Ruhantu’ (Stay Alert, Stay Safe) to reach the public in all districts.
Cyber Raths were given a grand welcome in all SP offices across the State today. District Collectors, SPs including Panchayat representatives, Mission Shakti members, officials and staff of the School and Public Education Department, Higher Education Department, Panchayat Raj and Information and Public Relations Department were present.
Awareness messages by Chief Secretary, Minister of State for Home Affairs and District SPs are being displayed on the Cyber Rath.
Later, the Cyber Security Rath travelled to other parts of the district.
It is worth mentioning that on September 30th, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik launched the cyber safety campaign at Kalinga Stadium.
As many as 34 cyber security raths will travel to various schools, colleges and panchayats across the state to spread awareness about cyber safety.
It is worth mentioning that the cyber mascot Saira is giving cyber safety messages in all districts.
To sensitize people on cyber safety a cyber theme song has been created.
Many awareness short films are being exhibited on Cyber Raths. Many districts are also organizing street plays and entertainment programmes.
The main objective of Cyber Safety Campaign is to create a cyber safe society and save people from cyber fraud.
It is worth mentioning here that Mini Marathon will be organized in different cities on the morning of October 8. An evening walk programme will be organized on the 14th to sensitize senior citizens.
The valedictory ceremony will be held on the 15th. Padma awardees and freedom fighters will be present along with district administration officials.
