Cyclone Amphan: Prez Kovind Speaks To Odisha Guv, CM; Expresses Concern

Bhubaneswar: President of India Ram Nath Kovind today spoke to Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal, and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to express his concern about the well-being of the people in the wake of the devastation caused by Cyclone Amphan.

The President revealed the fact in a tweet.

Cyclone Amphan has left a trail of massive devastation in the two States of West Bengal and Odisha causing damage to life and property. 

The Cyclone made its landfall near Sunderbans in West Bengal on Wednesday. 

Under the Cyclone's impact as many as 75 lives have been lost in West Bengal and one reported in Odisha.
