Bhubaneswar: In order to lend helping hand to the cyclone-affected people as well as contribute to the restoration measures, lots of generous organizations and individuals have come forward to donate to the Odisha Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
As per a press note released by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Rs 2 crore has been donated by the Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC). Forest Department Additional Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra and other senior officers today handed over the cheque to the Chief Minister.
Similarly, Serajuddin & Co has donated Rs 5 crore, Odisha Beverages Corporation Rs 5 crore, Khimjee Dayalal & Sons Rs 21 lakh, Jyote Motors Rs 10 lakh, employees of Falcon Marine Export Pvt. Ltd. Rs 20.12 lakh, Falcon Marine CEO P. Padmanavan Rs 5 lakh, Debashish Pattnaik Rs 1 lakh, Govind Pattanik of Arnapurna Finance Rs 25 lakh, Ganjam District Administration Rs 39 lakh, Wing Commander Dr Bhramarabar Nayak Rs 28,100, Shubha Kumar Patra of Baripada Rs 50,000, Kalinga Commercial Corporation Rs 10 lakh, former minister and MP Bhupinder Singh Rs 1 lakh, Jayashish Ray on behalf of the employees of Sambad Kalika Rs 1 lakh, Kendrapada Noujawan Union Rs 11,000, Bhubaneswar Padma hospital Rs 50,000, Minister Prafulla Mallick Rs 1 lakh, Dr Sureshwar Das on behalf of Exim Logistics Pvt. Ltd. Rs 2 lakh, CISF (Airporat) Rs 1 lakh, Society of Geo Scientists Rs 1 lakh, MP Pratap Keshari Deb Rs 5 lakh, MLA Raseshwari Panigrahi Rs 1 lakh.
Thus, 23 organizations and individuals today donated in total Rs 13,45,51,100.
As they have all come forward to help the people of Odisha during their hard times, the Chief Minister has expressed his immense thanks to them one and all.
