Cyclone FANI: 40 More Trains Cancelled Till May 4

Bhubaneswar: While the Indian Railways had earlier cancelled 107 trains in view of extremely severe cyclonic storm FANI, it has decided to cancel 40 more trains for the safely and security of passengers.
Earlier trains supposed to pass in Bhadrak-Vizianagaram Railway section of Howrah-Chennai Main Line and some supposed to originate and end its journey at Puri or at Bhubaneswar had been cancelled from May 1 to 3.
Meanwhile, 40 more trains including three trains on May 2, 21 trains on May 3 and 16 trains on May 4 have been cancelled. These apart, two trains will be cancelled partially, one train to be diverted and one train to be resumed after reviewing the situation.
Below is the list of the trains cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted.
Apart from this, some local passenger trains like Palasa-Gunupur-Palas Passenger (58427/58428), Palasa-Visakhapatnam-Palasa Passenger (58531/58532 & 58525/58526), Gunupur-Visakhapatnam-Gunupur Passenger (58505/58506), Palasa-Vizianagaram-Palasa Passenger (67282/67281), Vizianagaram-Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram Passenger (67293/67294) and Puri-Gunupur-Puri Passenger (58417/58418) will remain cancelled on May 3 from both the directions.
