Cyclone FANI: HDFC Bank Donates Rs 10 Crore To Odisha CM Relief Fund

Bhubaneswar: With many organisations and individuals extending financial support for the relief and rehabilitation operations in cyclone FANI hit districts of Odisha, the HDFC bank donated Rs 10 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, Odisha, on Thursday.

HDFC's Branch Banking Head (East) Sandeep S Kumar, Zonal Head Rajesh Srivastava and Deputy Vice-President Animesh Biswal met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the Odisha Secretariat today and handed over a cheque of the said amount.

Similarly, Trustees of Kalinga Foundation Trust, Bhawani Charan Patnaik and Bimal Das also met the Chief Minister and handed over a cheque of Rs 3 lakh drawn in favour of the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. Besides, Rs 1 lakh was donated by Korei MLA Akash Das Nayak, Rs 2.1 lakh by Hinjili Panchayat Samiti and Rs 10,000 by a resident of Bhubaneswar Ranjeet Das.

Chief Minister Patnaik thanked them for extending their support for people of Odisha at this juncture when the State is trying to recover from the menace.
