**Bhubaneswar: ** In the aftermath of Cyclone Titli’s effect and the torrential rains triggered by it, the State Administration is not only continuously reviewing the situation, but has also entrusted the immediate monitoring job to its three ministers.
The Chief Minister will himself make an aerial survey of the Titli affected Ganjam, Gajapati and Rayagada districts. He is scheduled to fly from Bhubaneswar at 11 am on Saturday.
The three-member committee comprising, Revenue Minister Maheswar Mohanty, Water Resources Minister Niranjan Pujari and Energy Minister Sushanta Singh.has been directed to visit Titli-affected Ganjam, Gajapati, and Rayagada districts to monitor the relief rescue and restoration operations.
After taking stock of the situation today through video conferencing with the Collectors of the three southern districts of Naveen constituted the ministerial committee.
The Chief Minister has also directed Finance Minister Shashi Bhusan Behera and ST & SC Development Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi to visit Kandhamal to monitor the relief and restoration operation there.
Notably, the Chief Minister during his video conferencing earlier in the day has already instructed that the flood situation in the districts of Ganjam, Rayagada and Gajapati need to be monitored closely.
