Bhubaneswar: Very severe cyclonic storm Titli has made landfall at Palasa in Andhra Pradesh very close to Gopalpur in Ganjam district of Odisha at around 5.30am. As the eye of the storm passed through Palasa the maximum wind speed recorded was 126 km per hour.

However according to the Joint Relief Commissioner of Odisha Pravat Ranjan Mahapatra there has been no major damage reported in Odisha due to Titli after landfall. Only at few places in Ganjam trees have felled. The felled trees which had blocked roads have been immediately cleared by the ODRAF team.

The worst part of the cyclone Titli is over and its now gradually weakening but under its impact rainfall would continue at several coastal districts of Odisha.
