Bhubaneswar: The Capital City on Monday reported less than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases, after a span of around 11 days. According to the data shared by the BMC, on Sunday, total 925 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar out of which 905 are local contact cases.
On Sunday, 1,357 persons recovered from the infection here. Bhubaneswar’s COVID tally now stands at 1,44,444 out of which 1,32,567 persons have recovered. Total 1,110 persons succumbed to the disease in the Capital City so far.
The city’s active case tally stands at 10,746, the BMC stated. The maximum cases were reported from Khandagiri (99), Chandrasekharpur (67) and Baramunda (33).
