Puri: Public darshan at the Shree Jagannatha Temple will remain temporarily suspended for five hours on Friday, March 27, in view of special rituals marking Chaitra Shukla Shree Rama Navami tithi.
According to temple authorities, the restriction will be in force from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, following the commencement of the Madhyana Bhog offering.
The suspension is necessitated for the performance of the sacred Shree Rama Janma Niti, a significant ritual associated with the birth of Lord Rama, which will be observed with due religious fervour inside the temple premises.
Devotees have been advised to plan their visits accordingly to avoid inconvenience during the restricted hours.
