Malkangiri: A man who had left his village in search of a job when he was around 17 to 18 years old finally returned to his paternal house after two decades with the help of his daughter.
Niranjan Sarkar, a native of Malkangiri district in Odisha, had gone to Mumbai at a young age. He started working there to earn a living, married there, and had no contact with his village.
He used to tell his daughter Khusboo about his mother, brothers, sisters, and relatives. Khusboo also wished to visit the village and meet her relatives but Niranjan had forgotten the way back to his village.
Khusboo with the help of GPS technology found the route to the village and reached there with her father. Niranjan’s mother Kalitara was elated to see her eldest son after 22 years.
Niranjan’s young brother Satyaranjan Sarkar, after some questioning, also confirmed that it was his elder brother. All the family members including Khusboo were happy to meet each other.
