Bhubaneswar: The night temperatures have been rising constantly across Odisha since the beginning of this week. In accordance with this, a bulletin released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday stated that the maximum temperatures in various cities of the state might cross 30°C on Tuesday.
The IMD predicted that the maximum temperature in Bhubaneswar will be 32.8°C. Meanwhile, in Sambalpur, the temperature will reach 33.2°C and 33°C in Boudh. In Jharsuguda temperatures will reach 32.8°C. Angul will experience 32.7C while the maximum temperature in Bhadrak will be 32.5°C.
The IMD said that there is unlikely to be any change in the minimum night temperature in Odisha. Many districts are likely to experience fog.
Shallow to moderate fog is expected over one or two places in the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Puri, Khurda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, and Jajpur.
The capital city Bhubaneswar is expected to see fog in the morning followed by mainly clear sky later during the day. Moderate fog is expected in Cuttack. Rourkela is also expected to start off with a foggy morning, with a clear sky later during the next 24 hours.
