Bhubaneswar: In a meeting held today at the Water Resources Department, Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg reviewed the department’s expenditure plan, focusing on project implementation and budget utilisation.
She emphasised the need for early approval of pending projects, expediting the tender process, and accelerating the implementation of ongoing projects.
Garg also directed Water Incharges and Sub-Inspectors to monitor project progress closely and conduct regular field visits. Priority projects, including Kanupur, Brutanga, Onga, and Bhimakunda, will be reviewed regularly to ensure timely completion.
This review is part of the state’s efforts to enhance administrative efficiency and implement the 2025-26 budget effectively, as directed by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja.
