Bhubaneswar: Popular Ollywood singer Humane Sagar is in the news again but for the wrong reasons. The singer’s wife Shriya Mishra met the Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra on Tuesday and complained that Humane has been neglecting her for the past few months and torturing her physically as well as mentally.
On his part, DCP Mishra directed the Mahila Police to probe into the allegations. On the other hand, Humane and Shriya have been asked to appear at the Mahila Police Station. In addition, the police have asked the couple to seek counselling.
For some time, the couple has been having marital discord and Shriya left Humane Sagar’s house in CDA Sector-6 in Cuttack. She has been staying at her father’s place in Balasore.
It is pertinent to mention here that last year Humane Sagar courted controversy as music director Debashis Mallick alias Japani alleged that Humane refused to sing the bhajans of Lord Jagannath.
In 2020, Humane was in news for the wrong reasons for his song ‘Jhia Nuhe Tu Coronavirus‘ wherein a girl was compared to coronavirus.
