Dead Bodies Of Female School Teacher & Minor College Girl Recovered From Locked Room

**Rourkela**: In a shocking incident, two dead bodies were recovered from a locked room in Rourkela. This incident occurred at D-48 of Kalinga Vihar of the steel city. They are identified as Isharani Lenka (45) , a primary school teacher in Patsatola Project U.P School, and her niece Madhusmita (16) who was pursuing her Plus 2 in the city.

Police reached the spot after the brother of the deceased Santosh Lenka informed about a foul smell emanating from the house. He alleged that the husband of his sister Braja Sahu has murdered both and has fled the spot.

According to sources, Santosh Lenka received a call from his sister Isharani on 25 September stating that her husband was harassing her. As the brother reached today at her residence in Rourkela, it was locked from within and a foul smell engulfed the place.

Police broke down the window panes to enter the house where both the dead bodies were lying.

According to preliminary investigation, both had been dead since two days. Police is suspecting the husband of the deceased teacher to be the main culprit behind this double murder. However, the husband is absconding.

Police have seized the bodies and have sent them for post-mortem. It has started its investigation to ascertain the cause behind this double deaths, and to nab the main accused.
