Bhubaneswar: The state government has appointed deans and superintendents to oversee two newly established medical colleges and hospitals in Odisha, as announced by the Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday.
According to the official notification, Kirtirekha Mohapatra, a professor in the O&G department at SCB Medical College and Hospital, has been appointed as the Dean and Principal of Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College in Talcher.
In a similar move, Debaprasad Mohanty, a professor in the Anaesthesiology department at SCBMCH, has been appointed as the Dean and Principal of the Government Medical College in Phulbani.
Additionally, Tarangini Das, a professor in the Anaesthesiology department at SCBMCH, has been appointed as the Superintendent of Pabitra Mohan Pradhan Medical College and Hospital in Talcher.
Furthermore, Narendra Behera, a professor in the Paediatrics department at MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, will serve as the Superintendent of the Government Medical College and Hospital in Phulbani.
