Malkangiri: The death toll in today’s deadly road accident in Malkangiri’s Swabhiman Anchal has risen to six as one of the injured labourers breathed his last on the way to hospital.
The accident occurred when a cement-laden tipper carrying around 13 labourers fell into a gorge on Hantalguda ghat road after its driver reportedly lost control over the wheels.
The tipper was going to Jadamba from Chitrakonda.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the district headquarters hospital here.
