Balasore: Decomposed bodies of three tribal persons who were missing from their homes at Barpada hamlet in Badapokhari panchayat under Oupada police limits in Bhadrak district since Monday were found in a forest near their village.

The deceased persons have been identified as Sambhari Singh, Jalia Singh, and Dampha Singh.

According to reports, Oupada police found the decomposed bodies from the forest near their village on Thursday after Sambhari Singh’s son Niranjan Singh lodged a missing person complaint with the Oupada police today after searching for him in vain.

While the mysterious deaths have created a sensation in the area, locals have demanded a high-level inquiry into the matter.
