Bhubaneswar: The deep depression that lies over north-west Bay of Bengal will cross West Bengal and Bangladesh coasts between Sagar Islands and Khepupara over Sundarbans around today noon.
As of 5.30 AM, the deep depression lies about 60 km SE of Sagar Islands and 210 km WSW of Khepupara, said the morning bulletin from Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).

Under its impact today the four coastal districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak and Balasore are likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Ganjam, Khordha, Cuttack, Jajpur and Mayurbhanj.
