Bhubaneswar: A Delhi-bound Vistara flight on Wednesday made an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar due to bad weather.
The Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight (UK 788) made emergency landing 10 minutes after it took off at Bhubaneswar Airport.
According to reports, the windshield of the flight got damaged due to hailstorm under the influence of Kalabaisakhi that lashed twin city and other parts of the State. All 169 passengers are safe, said airport director Prasanna Pradhan.
Arrangements are being made to send all the passengers in another flight, Pradhan added.
