Delhi Police Arrests Two From Balasore For Stealing From Minister’s Residence

Balasore: Delhi Police arrested two individuals from Nilagiri and Soro areas for allegedly stealing gold ornaments and cash from a minister’s residence in Delhi two months ago.

Following the complaint, Delhi Police registered a case and initiated an investigation. During investigation, police came to know that the accused belongs to Nilagiri area in Balasore.

The probe led them to Bhimei village under Nilagiri police station, where they apprehended Rati Ranjan Malik (33) with the help of local police.

During questioning, Malik revealed that he had sold the stolen gold ornaments to Maa Sarba Mangala Jewellery shop in Soro town. Consequently, Delhi Police and Nilagiri police raided the shop, seized the stolen jewelry, and arrested the owner, taking him to Nilgiri police station.
