Koraput: ‘Rajaswa Rath’, an initiative by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department to provide Tahasil office-related services at doorsteps, was flagged off in Jeypore today.
Under this programme, the Revenue officials go from door to door in a vehicle and issue certificates, distribute land records and make mutation of land.
The programme was launched here by Jeypore Tahasildar Pradhan Tully Amma. Today, 12 individuals of Sana Kaudi village received forest land Pattas, while 10 persons received caste certificates in Jaraikera village from Rajaswa Rath personnel.
Similarly, 10 residential certificates, 6 income certificates and 6 forest land pattas were distributed to natives of Jaraikera village. Besides, the personnel also recorded grievances and addressed those on the spot.
The novel initiative, Rajaswa Rath, is proving very beneficial amid Covid crisis, when access to Government offices is restricted for the public.
