Puri: Dense fog engulfed the Jagannath Temple and its periphery on Saturday morning. It was a rare view, as the 11th Century Shrine was not visible for a couple of hours. Same was the scene on a stretch of the Grand Road or Bada Danda, encapsulated by fog on a breezy Saturday morning.
However, the cold had no impact on the devotees who thronged the pilgrim town on the weekend. The golden beach along Puri was also impacted by the dense fog which lasted till 8 am in the morning. The view of the Puri beach and the mighty bay engulfed in a blanket of fog was indeed a sight to behold!
