Department Of Agriculture To Felicitate Outstanding Employees Every Month

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to recognize exemplary performance and foster a culture of excellence, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment, Government of Odisha, has announced plans to reward employees who have brought honour to the department through outstanding work. Employees who demonstrate exceptional performance will be felicitated along with letter of appreciation on a monthly basis. Their achievements will also be promoted on social media platforms.

Principal Secretary Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee emphasized that the performance of the employees will be based not only on the expenditure targets but also on their outstanding contribution towards the quality execution of the various plans and projects implemented by the Department.

To ensure a fair selection process, the Directors of all Directorates along with the Managing Directors of government enterprises under the Department, have been directed to submit the list of outstanding employees by the 10th of every month. This proactive approach will enable the department to identify deserving individuals and honour their contributions promptly.

The decision to reward exceptional employees reflects the department’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting a conducive work environment. By acknowledging and rewarding outstanding performance, the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment aims to boost morale, enhance productivity, and ultimately contribute to the overall growth and development of the agricultural sector.
