**Bhubaneswar:** The Indian Meteorological Department in a special bulletin has issued pre-cyclone watch over several districts of Odisha due to the well-marked low pressure over Bay of Bengal that has concentrated into a depression. It is very likely to concentrate into a deep depression during next 12 hours and move west-northwestwards to cross across Odisha.
For September 19 till 8:30 am of September 20, an orange warning (‘be prepared’) was issued for Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Nayagarh and Mayurbhanj.
For September 20 till 8:30 am of September 21, a red warning (‘take action’) has been issued for Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal and Koraput.
On the same day, orange warning has been issued for Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Boudh, Sonepur, Khordha, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore.
For September 21 till 8:30 am of September 22, red warning has been issued for Rayagada, Kalahandi and Koraput. Meanwhile, orange warning has been issued for Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore.
Squally wind speed 40-50 kilometer per hour is also likely over districts of coastal on September 20 and 21. Meanwhile, squally wind speed 30-40 kilometer per hour likely over districts of south-interior Odisha on September 21.
The bulletin has also advised fishermen not to venture along and off Odisha coast towards Central Bay and North Bay of Bengal in the next 72 hours.
