Depression Over Western Parts Of Telangana, No Rainfall Warning For Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Depression over Telangana has moved further west-northwestwards and now lies over western parts of Telangana, informed the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.

As per the IMD, the system now lies about 130 km east-northeast of Gulbarga (North Interior Karnataka) and about 50 km west of Hyderabad (Telangana) and is very likely to move further west-northwestwards and gradually weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during the next 12 hours.

While it is likely to trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat for the next 48 hours, there is no warning for Odisha. The IMD has further predicted that no significant change in temperatures is very likely over the country during the next 4-5 days.
