Bhubaneswar: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Energy, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo held a crucial meeting with top officials from the Energy Department on Friday to discuss strategies for advancing renewable energy and infrastructure development in Odisha.
The meeting was attended by Vishal Dev, Principal Secretary (Energy Department); Saidutta Biplab Keshari Pradhan, CEO (OREDA); Trilochan Panda, MD (GRIDCO); Sanjay Sen, Advisor to the Energy Department; and Rajesh Shirole.
Discussions centered on renewable energy innovation and infrastructure expansion, aligning with Odisha’s goal of becoming a leader in green power and sustainability.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Singh Deo emphasized the state’s commitment to clean energy, stating, “With a shared vision for renewable energy innovation and infrastructure expansion, we are committed to shaping Odisha into a hub of green power and sustainability.”
The meeting marks a significant step in Odisha’s efforts to boost renewable energy projects, enhance energy efficiency, and attract investments in the clean energy sector.
