Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, urged eligible women living and working outside the state to apply for the Subhadra Yojana at the earliest on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, she announced that the fourth phase of the first instalment will be disbursed soon, and it is crucial for eligible women to apply promptly.
“I urge all women who are eligible but currently living outside the state or working in migration to apply for the scheme as soon as possible. It has come to my attention that many eligible women have not yet applied and we want to ensure that they receive the financial assistance,” Parida stated.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that the government intends to provide benefits to all eligible beneficiaries and that disbursement will happen as soon as the applications are received.
“The last beneficiary will be included and financial support will be provided without delay,” she added.
Parida also assured that the final list of beneficiaries will be finalized shortly.
In the fourth phase, over 20 lakh women are expected to receive financial benefits. She further highlighted that many women have already utilized the portal’s opt-in feature to apply for the scheme.
