Bhubaneswar: Development Commissioner and Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Water Resources Anu Garg, met with the JICA Review Mission to discuss the progress of the Rengali Irrigation Project, Phase-II, which is being assisted by JICA.
During the meeting, Garg reviewed the current status of various works and activities under the project and stressed the importance of expediting expenditure and progress. She also emphasised the need to ensure adequate construction safety measures to protect workers and stakeholders.
The meeting was attended by OSD-Cum-EIC, Water Resources, and Chief Engineer, JICA, who played a key role in facilitating the discussion.
