Puri: A devotee died after having darshan (glimpse) of Lord Jagannath and His siblings at the Adapa Mandap of the Shree Gundicha Temple today.
The deceased has been identified as Laxmidhar Khuntia, a native of Kakatpur area in Puri district.
According to reports, Laxmidhar fell ill while returning after having darshan of the Lords at Shree Gundicha Temple. He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital here.
However, Laxmidhar was declared dead by the doctors at the hospital.
