Devotees Barred From Puri Temple ‘Darshan’ For 2 Hrs On Sunday Morning For President’s Visit

**Puri: ** The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has barred general devotees from ‘darshan’ (divine glimpse) of the deities inside the Jagannath Temple here on Sunday morning due to the President visit to the temple and ‘darshan’.

As per reports, the general devotees have been barred from ‘darshan’ from 6.30 to 8.30 am during which President Ram Nath Kovind and the First Lady of India will pay their obeisance.

The President is on a two-day maiden visit to Odisha from today till tomorrow.

Soon after his arrival at the Bhubaneswar airport by a special Air Force plane today, he graced two significant functions in Cuttack city where he dedicated the Biju Patnaik Museum and Learning Centre at Anand Bhawan to the people and later addressed the 3rd Foundation Day function of National Law University.

From Cuttack he reached here in the afternoon by a special Air Force helicopter and put up at the Circuit House.

He was received here by Puri Collector Arvind Agarwal and SP Sarthak Sarangi.
