Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharsuguda, Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania on Friday oversaw the security arrangement at Amlipali in Jharsuguda, where the Prime Minister is slated to address a youth convention tomorrow.
According to reports, DGP conducted a thorough review of the arrangements, inspecting the convention venue in Amalpali and examining the route from the helipad to the parking area. DGP emphasized the safety and convenience of the attendees, with a focus on crowd management and security measures. He also reviewed the placement of surveillance cameras and checkpoints for public entry to ensure a smooth and successful event.
Meanwhile, a convoy rehearsal for PM Narendra Modi’s visit was also conducted today. The convoy departed from the airport and proceeded to the venue at Amalpali, covering a distance of 2.5 kilometres. Senior police officials escorted the Prime Minister’s designated vehicle, cordoning it off as it reached the meeting venue.
With thousands of people expected to attend the event, preparations are being closely monitored to ensure that everything is in place for the Prime Minister’s visit and to make event a grand success.
