The projects include a Rs 132 crore sewage treatment plant on Jira river, a Rs 30 crore vending zone at Hatapada, Bargarh Municipality, a Rs 65 crore modern bus terminal at Bargarh Sadar, and a Rs 150 crore Antanadi reservoir at Grindola.

The CM emphasised Dhanu Yatra’s cultural significance, increasing the festival grant to Rs 1.5 crore and stipends for 200 artists. He announced plans for a Rs 12.8 crore Ranga Mahal and UNESCO recognition efforts.
Majhi warned corrupt officials of vigilance action and urged government employees to prioritise public service. He linked Dhanu Yatra to India’s Cultural Economy model and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cultural nationalism initiatives.
Chief Minister said that Modi ji has done a lot of work for the revival of India’s culture and tradition at the personal level and under his leadership, the government has done a lot. The magnificent temple of Lord Shri Ram in the holy land of Ayodhya, the visit of more than 66 crore devotees to the Kumbh Mela, the reconstruction of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the reconstruction of world-famous temples like Mathura, Mahakalpa, and the improvement of the Chardham Yatra Path of North India are the best examples of this cultural nationalism. Inspired by Modi ji’s mantra of ‘Vikash Bhi, Virashath Bhi’, our government is considering ‘Odia Asmita’ as an integral part of governance.
He further said that many beautiful arches have been built in Bargarh city. This has further enhanced the beauty of the city. Along with this, directors and assistant directors from the National School of Drama have come to study on Dhanu Yatra. They will study it, submit a report and proper documentation will be done.
He further said that in the last one and a half years, our government has done a lot of developmental work for the people of the state. It has planned something or the other for every section of the state like women, poor, youth, breadwinners, workers, small traders. Along with this, I have been continuously trying for the development of infrastructure and industry in the state. In this sequence, Odisha will witness a kind of industrial revolution in the coming days. Every district of the state will be industrialised. Efforts are underway for this.
Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit, MLA Ashwini Kumar Sarangi, Atabira MLA Nihar Ranjan Mahanand, Bhatli MLA Irashis Acharya, Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadtia, Padmapur MLA Barsha Singh Bariha, District Collector and other officials were prominently present on the occasion.
