Bhubaneswar: The Government of India’s Digital Crop Survey has officially begun in Odisha from today, marking a significant step towards modernising the agricultural sector. Farmers are encouraged to participate in this campaign by providing surveyors with essential information about their farmland, including land type, area, crop name, and irrigation amount.
This survey aims to create a digital database of crop-sown details, ensuring accurate and real-time crop area information for every agricultural plot. The data collected will help estimate crop production, improve agricultural planning, and enable better decision-making.
