Koraput: The police here on Sunday recovered a human skeleton in a cashew forest near Ektaguda area under Sadar police limits.
Sources said, the skull and limb bones were detached from the skeleton and lying few metres away. The police have also spotted charred patches in the area and a towel.
It is being suspected that the person was killed and the criminals set the body on fire to destroy evidence. Sadar police have registered a case and initiated probe.
