Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday unearthed disproportionate assets worth lakhs of rupees during simultaneous house searches conducted at five premises of Saswat Kumar Pattanaik, Nayagarh District Sub-Registrar.
So far, the Vigilance officials have unearthed two double-storeyed buildings, six plots, one four-wheeler, three two-wheelers along with other assets linked to Pattanaik and his family members.
The following assets have been unearthed so far:
- One double-storeyed building with a total area of 2350 sq ft located at Talabaranga in Kendrapara Town
- Another double-storeyed building with a total area of approx 2100 sq ft located at Talagaon under Kudanagari police limits in Kendrapara.
- Six plots in and around Cuttack, Jatni, Khurdha, and Kendrapara towns.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above buildings/plots is being carried out by the Vigilance Technical Wing.
In addition, the Vigilance official found that Pattanaik had paid an advance of Rs 6,54,500 to two realtors for the purchase of land in his name.
