Bhubaneswar: The post-mortem report of DJ Azex aka Akshaya Maharana, who was found hanging at his Kharvela Nagar residence in Bhubaneswar on Saturday night, was released on Tuesday. The report cites asphyxiation as the cause of his death and also mentions a hanging mark on his neck.
According to reports, the police have received his call records report facilitating the ongoing investigation into his death.
Meanwhile, the police are also likely to interrogate DJ Azex’s girlfriend and her male friend, as they have been named by his family in the FIR. The police are trying to find who allegedly abetted DJ Azex to end his life as a case has been filed under Sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 34 (crime done by several persons with a common intention).
Earlier, Azex’s friend Rahul had said that a love triangle was responsible for the DJ’s death. Rahul had alleged that Azex’s girlfriend was in a relationship with another man and they were blackmailing him.
