**Sambalpur:** Child swapping incident at Burla Medical College [Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR)] has been turned out to be true in the DNA report.
On 21st May doctors had swapped a baby with another dead baby. Parents Gagan Bihari Patra and Rina Patra of Podakhol, Naktideul demanded for a DNA test as he believed the dead baby given to him was not his.
On 25th May blood sample was collected and sent to the forensic science laboratory at Rasulgarh Bhubaneswar.
DNA reports have now confirmed that Gagan and Rina are the parents of alive baby.
The baby would be handed over to its real parents today.
