Bhubaneswar: City-based woman, Archana Nag who has been accused of blackmail and extortion was on Wednesday produced before the SDJM Bhubaneswar.
This was the first physical production of Nag in the court, since her arrest by the Commissionerate of Police on October 6.
Prior to this, she was produced before the court virtually (online), on a couple of occasions. A posse of scribes with a volley of questions swarmed the court complex here to get a reaction from Nag.
During a brief interaction with the journalists, while being taken into the court, Nag said, “I will surely speak. Do not spread fake news about me without any evidence.”
Nag and her husband are lodged in the Special Jail here at Jharpara. Her husband, Jagabandhu Chand was arrested on October 22 from his house in Bhubaneswar.
