Keonjhar: In a horrific incident, a dog was seen feasting on the body of a newborn on inside the campus of the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) here on Saturday.
According to reports, a woman of Sorasa village under Patna block in Keonjhar district had delivered a stillborn baby through caesarean section at the DHH here on Friday. Parents of the stillborn baby had buried it by digging a shallow pit inside the hospital premises.
However, on Saturday, a stray dog pulled out the body of the newborn from the pit and was seen feasting on it.
