Bhubaneswar: Badagada police arrested a domestic help on charges of raping his employer and her minor daughter.
According to the available information, the youth who allegedly raped the mother and daughter has been identified as Saroj Behera, a resident of of Nipania under Tamaka police limits in Jajpur district.
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim, Badgada police registered a case in this connection.
Saroj was working as a domestic helper at the complainant’s residence. Initially, he would take photos of the complainant and blackmail her. Later, he took multiple filthy photos and videos of both the complainant and her minor daughter, using them to blackmail them. By threatening to make these photos and videos go viral, he allegedly raped both the mother and daughter.
The accused was arrested after a police raid, and his mobile phone was seized. During interrogation, Saroj confessed to the crime. He has been forwarded to court on charges of raping and blackmailing the mother and daughter. The investigation is ongoing, according to the police.
