Bhubaneswar: In a major development in the DRDO espionage case, the Odisha Crime Branch has detected the involvement of another woman.
The said woman had came in contact with on of the five accused identifying herself as a native of his area and presently working in Dubai.
She had asked the accused to lend her Rs 40,000 that had been sent by the accused on April 18, 2021.
The money had reportedly been deposited in the accounts of two persons in Mumbai. However, it was returned on April 19, 2021.
The Crime Branch is trying to identify the persons who had received and deposited the amount.
