Driver Mahasangha Decides Not To Stop Congress Vehicles Coming To Rahul Gandhi’s Rally

Bhubaneswar: Congress workers and leaders will not face hurdles in visiting Bhubaneswar to participate in Rahul Gandhi’s rally as the Odisha Driver Mahasangha has decided not to intercept vehicles carrying Congress workers and leaders to Bhubaneswar for the party’s “Sambhidhan Bachao” rally on Friday.

This decision comes after a request from PCC president Bhakta Charan Das and other party MLAs to the Mahasangha to cooperate with the Congress party in making the mega rally a success.

Driver Mahasangha president Prasant Menduli has appealed to all striking drivers to refrain from preventing Congress vehicles on roads across the state, ensuring their smooth passage. Earlier, the Mahasangha had assured that they would not stop any Congress vehicles heading to the rally.

In return, Bhakta Charan Das assured the drivers of the Mahasangha’s support for their movement at the block and district levels.
