Nabarangpur: A 50-year-old man succumbed to the injuries inflicted during a drunken brawl that took place on Friday.
The deceased, Sukalal Rout had a fight with one Ghanasyam Majhi at Hatapada on Friday evening during which the former sustained severe blows.
Being in an inebriated condition, Majhi ignored the injuries and went back home. He succumbed on Saturday night. The family members of the deceased lodged a police complaint following which an FIR was registered. Further inquiry is being conducted by Raighar police.
